9 I am back!

Ok, so not many people even noticed I left, but a few friends asked why I had stopped posting in this blog. It's not like I went off the grid entirely, after all this is my work (not this blog, but I am a pro-blogger).

Here's the thing, life has been extremely complicated for me these days. And here I am trying to look at it from the right perspective: for all the things that have been going on these days, at least my child is healthy, my husband is healthy and so is our marriage.

So, for the friends out there that get news of our family from this blog, sorry to have disappeared. This is what happened: We went on a trip to Europe, there have been some illness in my family, I have been having some health issues myself - and more relevant to this blog - our home is undergoing some serious renovation right now.

Yeah, you heard right. More reno and repairs. We have been here for less than two years and have so far had to leave and stay at hotels for weeks at a time three times already. At the moment our upstairs terrace is mostly done, but had to be gutted completely, our bathroom had to be repaired and a host of other issues that perhaps means that this will be the last time we have to do this.

The good news is that, after much fighting, we got the developer to let us hire our own people. The company we are using came highly recommended and so far we are happy with their work. So now I am crossing my fingers (and toes) that this is the end of that.

One less thing to worry about.

I made hundreds of pictures of our last trip, so I guess I will be posting some later, also some of what we have doing around here and the repair work as it develops. It's nice to be back, and it will be nice to have our home back.

  8. Hi Clara, I hope you're doing well now, sometimes our bodies speaks out loud, but we just don't listen, if you're going through some health trouble make sure you are totally healed before starting on heavy work again. I've been looking your home's pictures and adored it, just are very fortunate to live in such a Paradise, your country is beautiful, but your spot is gorgeous!

I'd love to hear from you. Say something, but be nice or I'll tell your mom.
